Velvet Tonka Eau de Parfum by BDK Parfums is tonka bean done softly, almond, orange blossom and vanilla over a powdery amber woods base.
Orange blossom and almond open it like pastry dusted in icing sugar. Rose absolute and a touch of Balkan tobacco give the heart a little shadow, so it never tips into dessert. Tonka bean absolute, Madagascar vanilla, amyris wood and amber woods finish it honeyed, velvety and skin-close.
It is a comfort scent with polish. Easy to wear every day, warm enough for fall and winter, and quiet enough to layer.
