The XL book is written by Vanessa Friedman, fashion director and chief critic of The New York Times, with texts by fashion historian Alessandra Arezzi Boza and Laudomia Pucci, and edited by Armando Chitolina, former art director of Vogue Italia. Its pages draw on hundreds of photographs, drawings, and candid shots from the Emilio Pucci Foundation archive.

You follow the brand from one small boutique on Capri to a global luxury name, including the fabric and printing breakthroughs that made Pucci silk so light and so bright in the 1950s and 1960s.
