Scratching the Surface is an original mixed media artwork by DMJ Art that explores restraint, texture, and layered form. Measuring 11 x 14 inches, this piece is thoughtfully scaled for intimate spaces and curated interior styling.
Warm ochre, muted rose, deep brown, and soft neutral tones are arranged in a structured yet organic composition. Expressive linear markings and textured surfaces create subtle movement and depth, inviting closer viewing while maintaining a calm, composed presence.
Designed to integrate seamlessly into refined interiors, Scratching the Surface works beautifully on shelves, desks, bedside tables, gallery walls, or within styled vignettes. Its balanced palette and architectural layout make it an easy addition to modern, transitional, and collected spaces.
