Celebrate vibrant color and expressive gesture with Tulip, an original 10x8 floral painting by renowned American neo-expressionist Hunt Slonem. While internationally known for his iconic bunnies and birds, Slonem's florals hold a special place in his body of work, lush, textural, and alive with movement.
Tulip showcases a bold red-orange tulip rendered in thick, sculptural brushstrokes that give the petals incredible depth and dimension. A vivid chartreuse-green background amplifies the flower's intensity, while curving strokes of leafy green ground the composition with organic richness. Framed in an ornate champagne-toned frame, this piece feels both contemporary and timeless, making it a striking addition to any gallery wall, entry vignette, or design-forward interior.
Signed by the artist, this one-of-a-kind original highlights Slonem's distinctive approach to color, texture, and botanical form, offering collectors a rare and captivating floral work.
About the Artist
Hunt Slonem works primarily in oil on wood panel, building layers of thick, expressive brushwork that give his paintings a distinctive sculptural texture. This original red tulip continues that tradition, translating his signature technique into a vibrant botanical subject.
