11" Clear Glass Bubble Finial Ornament

It borrows every color in the room and gives none back.

The 11" Clear Glass Bubble Finial Ornament by Winward is a stack of graduated glass bubbles that narrows into a long tapered point, finished in an iridescent glaze that throws rainbow tones across the surface. The glass itself is clear, so what you see is mostly reflection: pink, green, and gold shift over the bubbles as you move past it, and the color changes completely depending on what is lit nearby.

An iridescent finish is the one clear ornament that never reads as filler, because it borrows whatever color is around it instead of adding its own. Hang these where light will hit them, near a window, a lamp, or a run of tree lights, and they will pick up the palette of the whole tree. Skip the shadowed inner branches, where the effect disappears. They also work past Christmas tree decorating: stand one under a cloche or in a bud vase for shelf styling. Pair with mercury glass, brass, and blush.
