10" Glitter Moss Green Glass Finial Ornament by Jim Marvin

Woodland, but make it deliberate.

The 10" Glitter Moss Green Glass Finial Ornament by Jim Marvin is blown into a long oval body that draws down to a tapered point. The moss green leans olive and gold rather than grey, closer to a dried bay leaf than to holiday green, and a fine glitter is worked across the whole surface so it reads as texture rather than sparkle. Ten inches of length means it hangs low and slow, swinging clear of the branches around it.

Finial shapes do something no ball can: they add vertical line. Hang a handful at staggered depths to break up a tree full of round ornaments, or cluster three off a chandelier or a stair garland. The olive-gold green is easy to build on, so pair it with brass, bone, and dried grasses for a quieter tree, or push it toward chartreuse and deeper gold if you want the green to read modern instead of woodland.

How to Style It:

Hang finials before anything else, since they need clearance to read properly. Space them around the tree at three different depths, then fill in with balls in the same family. Moss green, brass, and bone is our default for a tree that still looks good in January.
